I got to participate in this conference called Wisdom 2.0 — it was about trying to have mindfulness and awareness in the digital age and some of the challenges related to that. There are a lot of people trying to bring more mindfulness into the workplace. My whole thing is about food and wine and bringing more mindfulness into that space — in hospitality and stuff like that. I'm involved in the wine industry, so it's kind of weird, because a lot of people at this conference are tech people who have it right in their face — calling into question what it means to try to live with a spirit of awareness and compassion in an age of technology. But I'm kind of like the oddball. I'm interested in those issues, but in how they affect a very different type of industry. Still, everyone struggles with those issues.
